Teri Sommerfield is a fifth generation Murweh Shire resident who works in the family business at the beef cattle property "Canegrass". Teri has previously been a QLD Ag Shows Rural Ambassador state representative and completed training with the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. In addition to her experience in the agricultural industry, Teri also has an extensive background in the Performing Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (Drama, Film, Television and Literature)
This is Teri's first term as Councillor, and she looks forward to being able to represent the region of Murweh and its residents, with a particular focus on advancing projects for our youth, rural property owners and workers, and local artists.
