Teri Sommerfield is a fifth generation Murweh Shire resident who currently works in the family business at the beef cattle property "Canegrass". Teri has previously been a QLD Ag Shows Rural Ambassador state representative and completed training with the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. In addition to her experience in the agricultural industry, Teri also has an extensive background in the Performing Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Film, Television and Literature. Teri is a part of a number of different volunteer organisations and is on the committee for the Charleville Performing Arts Association, Show Society and the Endurance Horse Rider's Club.
This is Teri's first term as Councillor and she looks forward to being able to represent the region of Murweh and it's residents.
